Swimming is the ideal way to keep fit and have fun all year round. It doesn’t matter how old you are or how fit, swimming is recognised as one of the safest forms of exercise and of course there’s nothing quite like splashing around in the water.
Customer Notice – Pool Closure The pool at St Peter’s will be closed on Saturday 4th April from 1.15 to 3.30pm for a Swim England booking. The sauna and training pool will be open as usual and swimming is available at Padiham Leisure Centre during these times. We apologise for any inconvenience.
St Peter’s main pool – Please note amendments to the printed programme as follows:-
- Tuesday 6.30 – 9.00pm – Swimming club – pool is closed to the public.
- Friday 5.30 – 8.30pm – Swimming club – part pool only available.
- Friday 5.30 – 7.30pm – Adults only
- Friday 7.30 – 9.00pm – Public swimming
- Friday 9.00-10.00pm – Adults only
- Tuesday – pool closes 7.50pm
- Friday – 3.00pm Aquamix class

Learn to Swim with Swim Academy
With our Swim Academy programme we set out to develop good swimming techniques from a very early age with the nationally recognised ASA Learn to Swim Framework that is based on learning essential swimming skills.
Quid a Kid Swimming Sessions
£1 only during school holidays at the following times:-
Monday to Saturday 1-2pm and 2.30-3.30pm (last entry 30 mins before sessions ends)
Ages 16 & under
Terms and holiday times as defined by LCC – see link (inset days excluded).
Swimming is included in our membership options from as little as £8.00 per month.

Safety in the Pool
Our aim is to provide safe and hygienic swimming pools for the benefit of all swimmers. To help us to achieve this, please adhere to our SWIMMERS CODE which also gives details of children to adult swim ratios.
Lockers are provided and operate with a pound/trolley coin which is refundable. We also stock a range of swimwear, goggles and accessories for all ages in our reception area.
