Burnley Leisure launches new fitness class with free taster sessions

Looking to up your fitness? Burnley Leisure will be hosting two special launch events this weekend to celebrate the trust’s new addition to the class timetable.

From the fighting ring to the leisure’s studios, free Group Fight classes will be available to Burnley and Padiham residents on Saturday, 3rd October, and Sunday, 4th October.

Combining cutting-edge martial arts movements with thrilling music, Group Fight is a gripping hour of fitness that burns calories and builds total body strength.

Scott Bryce, operations manager at Burnley Leisure, said: “Higher intensity workouts like Group Fight are designed to activate multiple muscle groups to help people get quicker results; whether it’s losing weight, toning up, increasing strength or sports performance.

“The new class is set to get people the results they want and deserve without having to take long hours out of their already busy days.”

The Saturday session kicks off at 10am at St Peter’s Leisure Centre followed by a class at Padiham Leisure Centre on Sunday at 10.30am.

The free events are open to both members and non-members and anyone taking out a membership on the day will also benefit from no joining fee, which usually costs £25.

There is no need to book – just turn up. Bring some water and a gym towel and wear loose comfortable clothing and trainers.
